Description

ABC Empire State Chapter wants to invite you for an Virtual Informational Update Review to the 2023 NEC Code Change Highlights (Articles 1–4) The 2023 NEC introduces expanded safety measures, modernized equipment standards, and improved clarity for installers, inspectors, and engineers. We will review these changes for : • Broader GFCI and AFCI protection across dwelling and outdoor circuits • Mandatory surge protection for all dwelling unit services. • Revised grounding and bonding structure for easier navigation. • Smart device readiness with new switches and neutral rules. • Identification requirements for reconditioned equipment. • Enhanced safety labeling and arc energy reduction documentation.
