Higher bills coming for unemployment insurance |
In the next few months, prepare to receive a much higher bill for unemployment insurance (UI). ABC and other groups such as the Buffalo Niagara Partnership spent more than a year warning state leaders that this was coming, but they did not heed our warnings. Now, the hammer is dropping for all employers across the state. Starting very soon, mandatory unemployment insurance rates will increase significantly for employers.

New York State Primary Elections Recap |
Results from the June 28th state primaries |
New York State's primary election for all statewide and Assembly races was held on June 28th. As a reminder, this is the first of two primary elections held in New York. The primary for the NYS Senate and for the U.S. House of Representatives will take place on August 23rd.
ABC has put together a recap of the June 28th Primary and who will be running in the General Election come November. As you will see, there were a few upsets where a new challenger defeated an incumbent in the Assembly Races.
